Good food and well priced. Great staff, speaks English, and even got a house made limoncelllo to finish off the dinner. Highly recommend.

We're visiting from the U.S. and staying in Ceglie Messapica for a month as a base to explore the Puglia region. Il Fico was not our first choice last night, but it turns out that most of the restaurants in Ceglie M. are closed on Tuesdays. So glad we found this restaurant! They were very busy but there was a table available for the 4 of us. Service was friendly and excellent and the food was terrific. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended! This little bar/restaurant with a terrace in the evening sun just off the town’s main square is a gem. We asked if we could have a drink when they hadn’t formally opened yet for the evening and we were graciously accommodated. The kitchen wasn’t open yet but they offered a selection of antipasti which were AMAZING! Beautiful cheeses, meat and squid, fresh artichoke, grilled eggplant, croquettes, bruschetta, a fantastic dish of melted cheese with fungi, and much more. Everything was way beyond our expectations and the friendly and cheerful staff made us feel very welcome. Go here if you’re in Ceglie Messapica and if you’re not in Ceglie Missapica just make sure to get there because Il Fico is worth a visit.

Quite an expensive place compared to everything around, but absolutely worth it! Food was so delicious, atmosphere was classy and really nice.
